October’s Memory Verse

Shout for joy to the Lord all the earth!  Worship the Lord with gladness.  Come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us and we are his.  We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Psalm 100:1-3, Shout, Seeds of Praise, Track 4

Seeds of Praise CDs Available 11/1!

03-SeedsOfPraiseEvery first Sunday of the month children at BeFree are invited to lead the congregation in reciting the  memory verse.  Next Sunday 11/1 children will recite the October memory verse, Psalm 100:1-3.

Some memorizing tips:

*Practice the verse at home and sing the Seeds of Praise songs to help children really master them.  Childhood is when our capacity for memorization is optimum so it’s never too early to start this rich discipline.

*Display the memory verse prominently in your home to remember to practice (pick up a copy at your child’s DIG classroom).

*For toddlers and preschoolers start with 1 verse and for older students try all the verses.

*On 11/1 we will have Seeds of Praise cds for $7 if you haven’t picked up a copy yet.  Come visit the back table during the break to buy a copy.
